I've got 2 large boxes full of New shirts and dresses, now i have to screenprint/paint/dye, etc. them all! yipes! its a lot of work, but i cant wait until the fair!

Custom Best Friends Wedding Gift
I couldnt decide what to buy my best friend for her wedding, and i wanted to do something special, and a piece of my artwork, thats not just a print, but an original, we are both very crafty, and have done many paper cutting crafty things together, So i saw this 3d paper cutting art, i wanted to try out, and made it specific to them, with two deers in love, and a tree stump in the back with their initials.

For Me
This weekend I am going to an outdoor festival and its gonna be hot. I didnt really want to buy anything, or spend money. So i thought okay, well i need strapless, if its sunny, because my bestfriends wedding is next week and i cant have tan lines, then i thought i cant wear leggins because its just TOO hot out, i need something light, tee shirt material, and i dont really like showing my legs too much.... So i came up with this adorable reconstructed Teeshirt dress! and i love it! so comfy, not tight or restricting for a festival, Its loose but flattering, just the right length, I dyed it so it would be darker incase i sit on the ground and stuff, and then i added one of my screenprints on there.
Fun, can't wait for the music fest!

My mom is so cute, she bought two shirts, and told me exactly what she wanted!
it was great, no guessing, and no buts about it. She's gonna look fab!

Updates from Angel D'Amico :: AD LOVE July 08 Newsletter
First I am happy to say that Katie and I got accepted to be in Renegade Craft Fair again, this year! We are super excited, and going to be busy busy, making lots of items for it! Save the Dates: September 13 and 14 from 12pm-10pm along Division St. Between Damen and Hermitage in Wicker Park.
Next update: TrueStar Summer Issue that I have been working super hard on is finally out now! Art direction, Design and Illustration is done by me with exception of ads. Please let me know if you'd like a copy, etc. I work with some amazing people, and the teens are really talented! Here are my Favorite Designs, and you can view the WHOLE magazine Here or click below on the flipping pages.
Third: We saw some amazing fireworks downtown this year! Take a look at the album of pics here

Finally:
Donnie just created the Most amazing Animation For Pitchfork Music Festival, and I had to share some screen shots with everyone! It will play at the festival this weekend 18-20th as part of the sponsor reel. This year Public Enemy is going to be there, Caribou, Spoon, Cut Copy, elf power, and so many more!
You definetly have to see the whole animation sometime. He is So amazingly talented i can't even believe it!

Chicago Fourth of July Pics
We had a perfect view downtown Chicago, to see the fireworks, there were people everywhere!
But we found a nice more quiet spot, it was beautiful.
